Ten years of children’s book illustration. Hundreds of projects. Every one drawn from scratch
Storybooks, character design, coloring books, and activity pages. No AI, no stock art, just Photoshop and a decade of knowing what makes a deadline-real project actually work.
Sketches come before finals, every time. Files arrive print ready at 300 DPI for KDP, IngramSpark, or Etsy.

I’m Sidra Munawar, I have been illustrating children’s books for over ten years, working mostly through Upwork and Fiverr. Hundreds of projects in at this point, and a good number of repeat clients who come back book after book.
Everything is drawn from scratch in Photoshop. No AI, no stock art, no shortcuts. I send sketches before I touch final art, so anything that needs to change gets caught early. It is a lot easier to fix a pose or a layout at the sketch stage than after the final is painted.
I work across storybook illustration, character design with multi pose sheets, coloring book interiors, activity books, color by number pages, and learn to draw content. I do not have one signature style I try to fit every project into. Cartoon, semi realistic, digital painting, I adapt to what the book actually needs.
Ten years of real deadlines and real print files has a way of teaching you what actually matters. Every file goes out at 300 DPI, ready for KDP, IngramSpark, or Etsy, no back and forth needed to get it print ready.
